Giving back and donating to charity is important, and at Fowler Smith we see this as an vital role to play in the wider community.
Client care is the focus of our business, as is adding value to everybody we communicate with. However, caring for our surroundings, our peers and charities that are close to our team's hearts is deeply lodged in our interests.
This year, Senior Client Account Executive Natasha Hughes, proposed that along with our usual charitable donations, that we all gather items on the list of our local Food Bank.
Natasha explains more below:
"As we commence our third year of business at Fowler Smith and with an ever growing team, We wanted to do something this year to give back to the local community.
With our office situated on Colchester City Centre's High Street and after some research, we decided what better charity to focus on than our local food bank.
With Colchester's food bank being the most used food bank in Essex, and a third of of those they help being children, it felt particularly close to all our hearts.
So, this year our team has come together and asked friends, family and our business relationships to donate much needed food parcels and gifts using our office as a drop off point ready to deliver to the foodbank on the 14th December, so it can be distributed out to local families.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity shown so far and have been boxing up the donations already received.
We are proud of our values at Fowler Smith and these values do not just apply to our working day; they are part of who we are as a business and they each relate to us in a personal aspect."
