FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Colchester, United Kingdom – 29th January 2026
Fowler Smith Mortgages & Protection is delighted to confirm an expanded sponsorship agreement with the decorated motorsport talent Taylor O’Flanagan for the forthcoming 2026 Caterham Seven Championship season.
The extended partnership follows a successful two-year engagement between Fowler Smith and Taylor’s race team, which began in 2024 and continued through 2025, a campaign that saw Taylor recently crowned Champion of the Caterham 310R Championship.
For 2026, the collaboration moves into a new and challenging arena. Taylor will campaign the iconic Caterham Seven 420R, a high-performance specification class delivering approximately 420 bhp per tonne of power-to-weight ratio. The 2026 calendar includes high-profile circuits such as the Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix circuit in Belgium, a storied venue revered in international motorsport for its demanding layout and technical complexity.

Jonathan Fowler, Managing Director of Fowler Smith Mortgages & Protection, said:
“My co-Director Charlie and I are immensely proud to extend our support for Taylor and his team into the 2026 season. Since our first agreement in 2024 with Taylor, we have witnessed the dedication, resilience, and performance focus that are essential in both elite motorsport and in our industry, too. Taylor’s championship success in 2025 was a remarkable achievement, and we and our team here look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the Seven class.”
The partnership reflects a strategic alignment between two high-performance endeavours: a championship-winning motorsport team and a dynamic, client-focused brokerage. Both organisations share an ethos centred on continuous improvement, precision under pressure, and the pursuit of success, be it around a race circuit or in helping individuals and families secure some of their mortgage and protection needs.
Over the course of the 2025 season, the team at Fowler Smith maintained a visible presence at events across the UK and Europe. Jonathan attended the majority of rounds, including a memorable weekend at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The exposure and engagement at these races strengthened the connection between the Fowler Smith brand and the motorsport community, reinforcing shared values of endurance, strategic planning, and precise execution.
The 2026 Caterham 420R Championship campaign promises to be one of the most exciting yet, with a calendar that spans premier UK venues and international circuits, challenging drivers and teams alike to demonstrate technical skill and strategic acumen. Fowler Smith Mortgages & Protection will remain a committed partner throughout the season, sharing in the successes and ambitions of Taylor and his race crew.
