January 27th 2023 marked the first year of trading of Fowler Smith Mortgages & Protection. The mortgage market in the past 12 months has been tumultuous to say the least, but Fowler Smith has achieved a lot in their first year of trading.
Highlights of the past 12 months include submitting 344 mortgage/protection applications, expansion of the team and upgrading the firm's headquarters along with client facilities.
Among the 344 applications submitted, Fowler Smith have set and beaten multiple career records along the way. A notable mention is the submission of a £24.5million loan, with the help of preferred finance partners - along with a number of further multi-million pound loans in recent times.
Other achievements include multiple applications to offer stage within 14 days, some even achieving mortgage offer the same day, or same week, of submission.
Jonathan and Charlie, Directors at Fowler Smith, also highlight the appointment of Natasha - the team's Client Account Executive - and the onboarding of the first Associate Mortgage Broker - Joanna - as key achievements, and important factors in the growth of the firm.
Natasha has assisted an array of clients through the difficult times found in the market, and been second to none when orchestrating the mortgage application process - leaving clients with nothing to be desired.
Joanna has succeeded since her Associate appointment in September 2022 - working with local firms and assisting clients with complex requirements.
Fowler Smith upgraded their office, to allow for further expansion - which is much of the plan through 2023 and 2024. Their Colchester High Street location accommodates local clients and businesses, and with strong transport connections to London, Suffolk and Cambridge - it makes physical meetings all the more easier.
